I have been a first grade teacher in Missouri for the last 12 years. My school district is wonderful and supportive to all their teachers. They allow for creative thinking and are very focused on the best for all the children. My new challenge will be teaching second grade this fall. I am VERY excited!
My wonderful husband has put up with me for the last 15 years. He has helped me every single year before school starts get my brain back in the game and not stress out. Being married to a teacher requires a special man. I am VERY lucky to have him. We have been fortunate to include a son in our little family. He is amazing and never let's us forget it. Last December we added a pocket beagle to our family. Solomon just warms my heart!
In my spare time I like to read, make cards and other crafty projects. I have also gotten interested in photography recently. My husband loves to travel and I tend to tag a long with him so there are some fun pics to take. I am an avid game player and have a mean game of Scrabble.
